Humberston Academy opened as a mixed 11-16 comprehensive school in 1977, moving to its present site in 1979.  We have extensive playing fields, the usual range of specialist teaching rooms, grouped according to subject, as well as six computer rooms; all specialist teaching rooms have interactive whiteboards; all teaching staff have laptops.  Specialist status in Maths and Computing was gained in 2006.  As the Academy has been consistently oversubscribed, we reached the physical limits of our accommodation many years ago.
