BRIEF OUTLINE
Throughout the course, students will focus on the medium of drama, working in different styles and forms. You will learn skills and Techniques that will ensure you are competent practitioners who can communicate ideas to the audience.
You should be aware that, due to the nature of the course, regular attendance is vital. Frequent absentees let the group down and make it difficult for the performance to advance or improve.
COURSE CONTENT
Students must see a variety of live performances which they will analyse and evaluate using appropriate terminology. This also helps students to develop within the subject. Some practical sessions will be videoed as evidence of work to be sent to a moderator.
You should be prepared to perform in front of an audience. You also need to be ‘up for it’ and not easily embarrassed.
