WHY LAW GCSE?

This qualification provides the opportunity for students to discuss and debate aspects of law which affect our lives. It covers some of the areas studied in A Level Law and would provide a strong base for students wishing to follow professional careers. Franklin College is starting up a Career Academy: Legal from September 2010 for A level students wishing to follow a career in Law. High achievement in this course would provide good evidence for a studentship in the Academy. Students on this course will benefit from some of the special activities of the Career Academy including visits to Law courts and guest speakers.
